TRIATHLETES:

Wet suits:  Athletes don't need a wet suite to participate, it's an option if water temperatures are at or below 78 degrees.  USAT guidelines state: USAT rules state that competitors may wear wetsuits if the water temperature is 78 degrees or lower. USAT rules also state that if the water temperature is between 78.1 - 83.9 degrees, competitors may wear wetsuits but will not be eligible for awards.

Race day water temperature should be hovering around 78.  Check back for more up to date information regarding the temperatures of Lake Norfork.  

USA Triathlon Fees:  In addition to registration, athletes will need to purchase a USAT Membership for either $15 for a one-day membership or $50 for an annual membership.  This process is handled through the online registration platform.  Athletes will have the option to verify their current USAT membership, renew a membership, or purchase a new membership.

6:00 pm:  Kick off 5K & 10K at Rocking Chair Resort

Saturday

2:00 pm: Open Water Swim  (750m, 1.5km, 3km) at Rocking Chair Resort
TDB : Open Water Swim awards 
4:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Packet Pickup for Olympic & Sprint Triathlons at Rocking Chair Resort

Sunday
6:00 - 7:30 am - Packet Pickup at Panther Bay
6:15 am - Transition Opens
7:30 & 7:45 - Pre-race information meeting at Panther Bay
8:00 am:  Sprint Triathlon (.5mi/750m swim, 12.4mi/20km bike, 3.1mi/5km trail run) at Panther Bay. Finish at Rocking Chair Resort
8:00 am: Olympic Triathlon (.93mi/1500m swim, 24.8mi/40km bike, 6.2mi/10km trail run) at Panther Bay.  Finish at Rocking Chair Resort
TDB / 11:30-ish : Awards

Post-Race - Athletes can take a boat shuttle from Rocking Chair Resort back to Panther Bay / Transition.
