Whoo's Gettin' Dirty? FAQ

There's a lot to know....here are some answers.

FAQ

Define "Teams"

We want you to come out and have fun with your friends....and get DIRTY along the way!  During registration you will have the option to register a team for the non-competitive 5K and 10K races.   Teams are defined as two or more individuals (gender breakdown is irrelevant) who navigate the course together.  The team's finishing time will be based on the last person to cross the finish line.  Everyone whoo's registered as part of the team will get some bonus swag to show your team spirit!

We're looking ahead to the future; we'll probably have some competitive team options for 2020.  Until then, Get out there, Get Dirty, and have some fun with your buds!

Kids wave?

Kids wave schedule for 9:30 am is a non-competitive 5K team effort for children 5 years and older to navigate the course alongside a guardian.

What is the cause?

Proceeds from Whoo’s Gettin’ Dirty? will go to the ASUMH Foundation and will be used for the scholarship fund, student emergency fund, intramural sports expenses, and other financial needs ASUMH students might encounter.

What's going on after we run?

Food, fun, festivities!  We'll have a kids zone with inflatables, food trucks, DJ, vendors and more!

What would I wear on race day?

Dress to get muddy....and then maybe a change of clothes post-race.

What time should I show up?

There will be lots going on race morning, so plan ahead and arrive at least 30 minutes early.  You'll need to find a parking spot, check in at packet pickup, maybe head back to your car to put away goodies and then make your way to the starting line.
